Billy's Story

Once there was a mother who had a new baby. His name was Billy. When Billy was hungry, he cried, "Aaaaaaaack" and he sounded like a little duck. So, his mom called him "little duck", but not Billy.

When Billy wanted to stand up, he couldn't; and he acted like a little pigeon. So, his mom called him, "little pigeon," but not Billy.

When Billy was asleep, he acted like a little frog. So, his mom called him, "little frog," but not Billy.

When Billy wanted to greet his mom, he clawed his hands like a little bear. So, his mom called him, "little bear," but not Billy.

When Billy took a bath, he played in water like a little fish. So, his mom called him, "little fish," but not Billy.

When Billy was given a carrot, he held it with his hands and wrinkled up his nose like a bunny. So, his mom called him "little bunny," but not Billy.

When Billy woke up from his crib, he sang to himself like a bee. So, his mom called him, "little bee," but not Billy.

When Billy opened his eyes widely, he looked like an owl. So, his mom called him, "little owl, " but not Billy.

One day, Billy stood up in his playpen watching the door. When he saw his mom, he said, "MmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMA MA." So, his mom called him

not little pigeon
not little frog
not little bear
not little fish
not little bunny,
not little bee,
not little owl,
but BILLY!
